Quick Setup
Create a Subscription Plan
Go to Subscribfy → Product Subscriptions → click Create Subscription Plan.
Choose Plan Type
Select the type of subscription that fits your business:
Recurring billing at regular intervals with immediate payment
Best for: Coffee, vitamins, pet food, skincare
Customers pay upfront for multiple deliveries
Best for: Subscription boxes, seasonal products
Trial period before subscription starts
Best for: High-value items, new product launches
Select Products
Choose which products will be available for subscription. You can select multiple products - a subscription plan will be created for each.
Configure Frequency
Set how often customers receive the product (every week, month, etc.) and any discounts.
Save
Click Save to create the subscription plan.
Plan Types Explained
The most common type - customers pay and receive products on a recurring schedule.

| Change discount after X orders | Offer a different discount after a certain number of orders |
Customers pay for multiple deliveries upfront.

Example
"Prepaid for 3 months, delivery every 1 month" - Customer pays for 3 months upfront and receives monthly deliveries.
Customers try the product before being charged.

| Convert to recurring subscription | Customers who keep the product continue as subscribers |
Payment Authorization
Payment authorization is 7 days for stores without Shopify Plus.
Purchase Options
Choose how customers can buy the product:

Frequency Settings
Configure how often customers receive products and any discounts:

| Discount type | Percentage (%) or fixed amount |
| Discount value | The discount amount |
Click Add frequency to offer multiple delivery options (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly).

- Choose purchase type - One-time or subscribe
- Select frequency - How often to receive the product
- See savings - Discount shown for subscription
- Add to cart - Proceed to checkout

Go to Subscribfy → Analytics → Product Subscription tab to see how your subscriptions are performing.
