Getting Started

Before You Begin

  • Contact support to activate Wallet Pass for your store
  • Have your logo and brand colors ready (PNG format)
  • Decide whether to show store credit balance or loyalty points on the pass

Quick Setup

Enable Wallet Pass

  1. Go to Subscribfy in your Shopify admin
  2. Click on Wallet Pass in the left sidebar
  3. Click the Enable button at the top of the page

Design Your Wallet

Configure the visual appearance of your pass:

Configure Membership Labels

Customize the Email

Configure the email customers receive with their wallet pass invitation:

Push Notifications

Geo Notifications

Send notifications when customers are near certain locations, like your stores or events.

Click Add Location to create a geo notification:

  • Set the notification message (can include {{first_name}}, {{last_name}}, {{balance}}, {{plan_name}} variables)
  • Choose the location address
  • Set the radius around the location
  • Choose active dates (optional)
  • Set minimum store credit balance requirement (optional)

A maximum of 10 active locations are allowed per store.

Push Notification Campaigns

Send one-time push notifications to all pass holders or specific customer segments.

Click Add Push to create a campaign:

  • Write your notification header message
  • Select which pass holders to target (all, specific tier, minimum balance)
  • Schedule when to send (immediately or scheduled date/time)
  • View delivery progress (Scheduled, Delivered status)

Push Reminders

Set up automated reminders for specific events:

Update Notification Settings

Configure automatic notifications when customer data changes.

Membership status update notification messageMessage sent when membership status changes. Use {{status}} to insert the new status.
Notification TimingChoose when to send updates: Anytime or during a Specific Time Window

What Your Customers See

Adding the Pass

  1. Customer receives email with "Add to Wallet" button
  2. They click the button on their phone
  3. On desktop, they see a QR code to scan with their phone
  4. Pass is added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
  5. They can view it anytime from their wallet app

On the Pass

  • Balance: Store credit balance or loyalty points (based on your setting)
  • Membership status: Current membership tier or "Free Member"
  • QR code: For in-store scanning at POS
  • Links: Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and any custom links

Notifications

Customers receive push notifications on their phone:

  • When their balance changes
  • When their membership status changes
  • When you send a campaign
  • When they are near a geo-fenced location

Notifications appear even when the customer does not have your app open.
