Introduction
Encourage visitors to become members by offering points when they create an account. This helps build your customer base and enables you to engage with them through your loyalty program.
Enabling Create Account Reward
Create the Rule
Go to Subscribfy → Loyalty → Rewards Program tab → Create new rule → Create Account
Configure Basic Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Display name shown to customers (e.g., "Welcome Bonus") |
| Reward Amount | Points to award (e.g., 100 points) |
| Reward Message | Message customers see when they earn the reward |
Configure Advanced Settings (Optional)
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Customer tags | Include or exclude customers by their Shopify tags |
| Schedule | Set start and end dates for the rule |
| Tier restriction | Limit which tiers can earn this reward |
Save
Click Save and make sure the rule status is ON.
When Points Are Awarded
Points are awarded automatically when a customer creates an account through:
- Your store's registration page
- Checkout (if account creation is enabled)
- Customer portal sign-up
This is a one-time reward. Customers can only earn it once.
Retroactive Rewards
When you enable this rule, you can choose to retroactively reward existing customers who already have accounts. This is optional and can be configured when setting up the rule.
Klaviyo Integration
If you have Klaviyo connected, Subscribfy sends a Subscribfy Create Account Event when a customer earns the signup reward.
