Reward customers on the anniversary of their first purchase

How to create an Anniversary rule

Introduction

Celebrate customer loyalty by rewarding them on the anniversary of their first purchase. This shows appreciation for long-term customers and encourages continued engagement.

Enabling Anniversary Reward

Create the Rule

Go to SubscribfyLoyaltyRewards Program tab → Create new ruleAnniversary Reward

Configure Basic Settings

SettingDescription
NameDisplay name (e.g., "Anniversary Bonus")
Reward AmountPoints to award (e.g., 150 points)
Reward MessageMessage shown when reward is earned

Configure Advanced Settings (Optional)

Customer tagsInclude or exclude customers by their Shopify tags
Tier restrictionLimit which tiers can earn this reward

Save

Click Save and make sure the rule status is ON.


How It Works

  1. The system tracks the date of each customer's first purchase
  2. On the anniversary of that date each year, points are awarded automatically
  3. Customers receive a notification about their anniversary reward

Tier Multipliers

Each tier has a points multiplier. The anniversary reward is multiplied by the customer's tier multiplier, so higher tier members get bigger bonuses.


Klaviyo Integration

If you have Klaviyo connected, Subscribfy sends a Subscribfy Anniversary Event when a customer receives their anniversary reward.
